2025 Annual Meeting
Please join us for St. Mary's Annual Meeting after the 10am service on Sunday, February 9th in Edwards Hall. We will present an overview of the 2025 budget and elect new members of the vestry and delegates to the convention. We will also hear about and vote on a revision to our bylaws that updates them to be consistent with current diocese canons. See a slide show of St. Mary’s activities in 2024!
Per our bylaws (Article III Membership), in order to vote, one must be: an adult confirmed communicant in good standing, listed in the treasurer's books as a contributor for the previous six months, and a member of the parish for the same period.
The following materials are posted for your review. Some hard copies will be available at the meeting.
Nominees for delegates to the diocesan convention include: Don Fennell,
Kathy Stoner, Ellen Jahn, Norah Schramm, Elizabeth McCorkle (alternate).
Nominees for the Vestry are Brita Bruemmer and Roger Miller. Read about them below.
Brita Bruemmer
I have attended St. Mary’s since 1997 when we moved here from Sacramento.
Raising two children and working as a Family Physician, I never felt I had the time to devote to being on the Vestry until now that they are grown and I am retired.
Over the years I have participated in a variety of ministries and events - from the Toddler Room to the Antiques Show, and many things in between.
As a vestry member in today’s world, I hope to help St. Mary’s community to continue and to expand our efforts to bring light and love to this time and place.
Roger Miller
I have been attending St Mary’s for about two years.
Originally from PA I was confirmed in the Episcopal Church in Kennett Square PA as a teenager in the 1960’s.
My career carried me to a number of locations throughout the USA from 1974 to 2001, at which time I settled in Pacific Grove.
Currently I have a small consulting business providing services to clients as a Certified Access Specialist and Construction Manager which I have operated for more than 12 years.
I lost my wife in February 2022 to Crutchfield Jacobs disease and I’m currently single, living alone. My daughter and her husband live in Kansas City, MO with my twin 7-year-old granddaughters,
