Rector’s Reflection - March 2025

This month as we enter the season of Lent, I share with you a photo and a prayer that I hope will be fruitful for our Lenten task of self-reflection. Rather than sharing my own thoughts, I invite you to sit for a time with these as prompts and listen with your heart for what they might say to you.

“O God of peace, who has taught us that in returning and rest we shall be saved, in quietness and confidence shall be our strength: By the might of your Spirit lift us, we pray, to your presence, where we may be still and know that you are God; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.” (Book of Common Prayer, p. 823)
